Peace Be Still

In a world that often feels chaotic and overwhelming, the phrase "peace be still" serves as a comforting reminder to seek tranquility amidst the storm. This powerful expression invites us to pause, reflect, and cultivate a sense of calm in our daily lives.
Life troubled experiences, situations, problems and dilemmas try to wear us out. Don’t fret or fear, just know that our help has already been provided. Look unto God, who cares deeply for all of us. He has already made concessions for current and future events. He has already provided a way of escape.
Remember how the Disciples became weary when they thought that they were going to perish on the boat during a turbulent storm. Jesus got up from His rest, provided for them and He will take care of us too.
Mark 4:35-41
And a great windstorm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so that it was already filling.
But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. And they awoke Him and said to Him, “Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?”
But He said to them, “Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?” And they feared exceedingly, and said to one another, “Who can this be, that even the wind and the sea obey Him!”
Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm.”
Jesus Christ wanted them to know that He was nearby and nothing or no one would harm them. The wind was under His subjection. He spoke the word and it had to obey. The Disciples had witnessed His miracles, signs and wonders before, but apparently needed a reminder. Jesus questioned their faith. After Jesus spoke to the wind and sea the Disciples were amazed at His power and authority.
Peace be still, mean stop it, that’s enough. I encourage you to speak to your situation and tell it today, “peace be still,” stop it, that’s enough.”
Peace is a place of serenity, quietness, calmness, solace, and tranquility. It is an ‘absence of, or cessation of war or hostilities; the condition or state of a nation or community in which it is not at war with another; absence of noise, movement, or activity; stillness, quiet.’
Cast all of your cares upon Him, because He cares for you. I encourage you to look unto Him who is able to keep you from falling and present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy. Tell your storm to be quiet; peace be still; stop it, that’s enough.”
You deserve your peace.
